Bahrain, Poland discuss cooperation in housing services

Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, held a meeting with Malgorzata Jarosinska, Polish Minister of Funds and Regional Policy, on the sideline of the second session of the United Nations Habitat (UN-Habitat) Assembly in the Kenyan capital Nairobi.

The meeting reviewed the efforts of Bahrain and Poland in the field of providing housing services to their citizens, as well as ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and exchange of expertise. They also discussed topics on the agenda of the UN-Habitat meetings.

Al Romaihi highlighted the Ministry's plans to provide housing services to the citizens, and the recent programmes introduced by the Ministry to provide timely and sustainable housing services, in partnership with the private sector, in addition to efforts to provide projects and services in housing cities.

The Polish Minister of Funds and Regional Policy praised the Kingdom’s efforts to provide housing services, affirming that Poland is ready to cooperate with Bahrain in a way that contribute to developing housing services for the two countries.
