Financial Affairs Undersecretary at the Ministry of Finance and National Economy, Yousef Abdullah Humood, has chaired the kingdom's delegation during the eighth meeting of the Committee of Senior Officials in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)'s Economic and Development Affairs Authority.

The committee convened ahead of the fifth meeting of the Permanent Ministerial Preparatory Committee of the Economic and Development Affairs Authority, hosted by Muscat, Oman.

The participants discussed financial and economic issues aimed at enhancing joint cooperation.

In this regard, they discussed the governance of joint GCC economic and development action, as well as the initiatives and projects featuring in the roadmap aimed at achieving economic unity among GCC countries by 2025, including reaching GCC customs union and the completion of the GCC Common Market.
