Bahrain, UAE Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional Tensions in Phone Call

Bahrain: Foreign Ministers of Bahrain and the UAE have discussed the current regional developments in the Gulf in a phone call, according to the Bahrain News Agency.

According to Qatar News Agency, Ministers Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan reviewed the recent Iranian missile attacks on GCC countries, which have resulted in casualties and property damage.

Officials stressed the importance of stopping these attacks, which threaten regional security and stability.

The conversation also focused on cooperation within the United Nations Security Council, with Bahrain serving as a non-permanent member for 2026-2027, particularly on Middle East issues.

The officials exchanged views on other matters of mutual interest.
