Bahraini Interior Ministry: Five Individuals Nailed Over Passing Critical Information to IRGC

Manama: The Bahraini Ministry of Interior announced Sunday that five individuals had been apprehended, while a sixth remains at large outside the country, for their involvement in collecting and transmitting sensitive information to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

According to Qatar News Agency, the ministry detailed that the General Administration of Investigations and Criminal Evidence captured the five individuals. They were found to be involved in taking photographs and recording coordinates of critical sites and certain hotels in Bahrain. This information was allegedly passed on to the IRGC, facilitating the targeting of these locations during an Iranian offensive.

The ministry's statement further mentioned that all necessary legal measures have been implemented, and the suspects have been handed over to public prosecution.
