Damascus, The Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Damascus denied information claiming that a company registered in Bulgaria provided the Lebanese resistance with shipments of 'pager' communications equipment that were blown up as a result of an Israeli cyber aggression a few days ago, which resulted in the martyrdom of dozens and the injury of more than 3,000 people. 'In the context of the increasing media interest, and in reference to information alleging that a company registered in Bulgaria supplied the Lebanese Hezbollah organization with shipments of communications equipment (pagers)that were detonated on Lebanese and Syrian territory, we inform you that according to the data of the National Security Service, no customs operations were carried out on the targeted goods through the territory of Bulgaria, and no customs operations were carried out with the foreign companies mentioned in the media ' The embassy said in a statement. The embassy added that as a result of the inspections conducted by th e State Security Service in conjunction with the National Revenue Authority, the Ministry of Interior and the Customs Authority, it was proven beyond doubt that no communication devices were imported, exported or manufactured in Bulgaria in response to those that were detonated on 17/9/2024 in Lebanon and Syria. It has also been established that the company /Norta Global/ mentioned in the media reports or its owner did not carry out transactions over which Bulgaria has jurisdiction regarding the purchase and sale of goods.
