Doha: May 15 - The Civil Service and Government Development Bureau participated in a number of events and global workshops as part of its participation in the 33rd Doha International Book Fair, which is held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. The Civil Service and Government Development Bureau stated that its participation in the exhibition aimed to enrich cultural and educational activities, by organizing training workshops and a cultural symposium centered around important topics, including innovation in the government sector, leadership fundamentals, and building human capital competencies, within the framework of its commitment to disseminating knowledge and exchanging experiences, and directing efforts towards enhancing the value of innovation and upgrading the government sector. One of the key events organized was a panel discussion on innovation in the government sector, which focused on the importance of digital transformation and the use of artificial intelligence techniques to improve g overnment services, and the importance of joint cooperation between all government agencies to enhance innovation mechanisms in the government sector. It was attended by Director of Government Development Affairs at the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau Raed Ibrahim Al Emadi, and Assistant Undersecretary for Information Technology Affairs at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Mashael Ali Al Hammadi. In this context, Acting Director of the Institute of Public Administration, Maha Masoud Al Marri said the seminars and training workshops goes beyond the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau's commitment to spreading knowledge and developing competencies, to enhance efforts towards building a knowledge society capable of keeping pace with changes and develop skills and capabilities in various leadership and administrative fields.
