Doha: HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani participated in the Multinational Military Mission meeting in the Strait of Hormuz, to which he was invited by HE Secretary of State for Defense of the United Kingdom John Healey and HE French Minister of the Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs Catherine Vautrin, via video conferencing.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting aims to discuss ways to facilitate freedom of navigation and maritime flows in the Strait of Hormuz, following the agreement reached on the current crisis.
