Doha: HE Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council Dr. Hamda bint Hassan Al Sulaiti engaged in discussions with HE President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Republic, Lorenzo Fontana, during the plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean. The meeting centered on enhancing parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and the Italian Chamber of Deputies, as well as exploring various issues of mutual interest, particularly in parliamentary cooperation.

According to Qatar News Agency, Her Excellency also conducted separate meetings with HE Vice-President of the Italian Senate Maria Domenica, HE the Fratelli d’Italia Group Leader Lucio Malan, HE Vice-President of the Foreign Affairs Committee Roberto Menia, and HE Head of the Italian-Qatari Parliamentary Friendship Group in the Italian Senate Salvatore Caiata. These discussions were focused on strengthening and developing parliamentary relations between the two countries.
