The Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (DERASAT) convened for its eighth meeting at its headquarters.
Board of Trustees’ Chairman Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa presided over the session which was attended by members Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Aseeri, Dr. Shaikha Munira bint Khalif Al Khalifa, Dr. Ahmed Hashem Al Yusha'a, in addition to Executive Director Hamad Ibrahim Al Abdulla.
The session paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, hailing the royal vision and directives which further enhancing the standing of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The panel also praised the strategies spearheaded by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which had a positive impact on economic development indicators and the post-pandemic recovery plan.
The session stressed the importance of further reinforcing development pathways, and spurring economic growth and stimulating the spirit of innovation, leadership and modernity in public and private sector institutions.
They indicated that such a drive would contribute to generating qualitative jobs for citizens and strengthening Bahrain’s position as a global attractive destination for investment, in line with 2030 Bahrain’s Economic Vision.
