The Digital Incubation Center (DIC), affiliated to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), participated in the second edition of the LEAP 23 Conference held in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The conference was organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in Saudi Arabia and takes place from Feb.6 to Feb.9, 2023.
The participation of the Digital Incubation Center and its companies incubated came to introduce local startups in Qatar to the regional and international markets, in addition to establishing a program for scientific exchange and exchanging experiences with counterpart organizations on the best practices for incubation and acceleration programs and starting partnership opportunities with international incubators and accelerators at the conference.
DIC also provided an opportunity for the incubated startups to contribute to presenting their innovations to international participants, establishing partnerships, communicating with industry players, acquiring the necessary knowledge of market entry paths, participating in competitions, gaining international experience, and reaching out to international investors.
The startups incubated by the DIC participating in the conference presented their digital solutions to the participants and investors. They also participated in the Rocket Fuel Start-up Competition held on the sidelines of LEAP. Five out of 10 companies have already qualified for the semi-finals.
It is worth mentioning that the startups incubated participating in the conference are eHaris, Spendwisor, Turismo, Colorant, Virdome, Enable, ta2meen, My Nation, Gadgetery, and WeTreat.
