Sharm El Sheikh: An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.19 on the Richter scale struck on Thursday, north of Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
According to Qatar News Agency, the National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics stated in a statement that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 19.33 kilometers, about 131 kilometers north of Sharm El Sheikh.
There have been no reports so far of casualties or damage to property as a result of the earthquake.
