Earthquake of 5.3 Magnitude Strikes Taiwan’s Eastern Coast

An earthquake measuring 5.3 magnitude on the Richter scale struck off the eastern coast of Taiwan. The Central Weather Administration - Hualien, Taiwan, reported that the earthquake shook buildings in the capital, Taipei, occurring at a depth of 17 kilometers.
