Egyptian, Iraqi Foreign Ministers Discuss Latest Developments in Region

Doha: Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty discussed with his Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hussein, who is currently visiting Egypt, the latest developments in the region. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in various fields, in addition to discussing a number of regional and international issues of common interest.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and exploring opportunities for collaboration in different sectors. The ministers emphasized the importance of mutual support and cooperation to address challenges facing the region. They also exchanged views on how to effectively respond to these challenges through joint efforts and strategic partnerships.

Furthermore, the talks included an assessment of the current political and security landscape in the Middle East, highlighting the need for continued dialogue and cooperation to promote stability and peace. Both ministers reiterated their commitment to working closely on matters of mutual concern, including economic development and security cooperation.
