Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, has affirmed that the long-standing solid Bahraini-Egyptian relations are based on solid foundations of bilateral cooperation and joint action in various fields, thanks to the unwavering care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and President Abdul Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt.
The minister also highlighted the constant interest of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister of Egypt, in bolstering cooperation between the two countries across various fields, in light of the agreements and memoranda of understanding signed between them, stressing the two countries’ keenness to broaden their ties in a way that would achieve their common goals and shared interests.
Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa was speaking while receiving here today the outgoing Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain, Yasser Mohammed Shaban.
He commended the tremendous efforts exerted by the envoy throughout his tenure to strengthen bilateral relations, especially in the financial and economic fields, wishing him every success in his future assignments.
The Egyptian Ambassador expressed thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Finance and National Economy for his constant keenness to enhance the financial and economic relations between the two countries, wishing the kingdom further progress and prosperity.
