Foreign Minister meets UK Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for MENA

London, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Hamish Falconer, UK Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Middle East and North Africa. Dr. Al Zayani congratulated Falconer on assuming his post in the UK government and wished him success. He affirmed Bahrain's commitment to strengthening its strategic partnership with the UK. Falconer welcomed Dr. Al Zayani's visit, commending the strong and evolving relations between Bahrain and the UK, which continue to serve their mutual interests. The two sides discussed ways to advance bilateral cooperation across various sectors, aiming to broaden the partnership in line with shared goals. They also reviewed regional developments, particularly the situation in Gaza, and international efforts to secure an immediate ceasefire, protect civilians, release hostages, and facilitate humanitarian aid delivery, alongside broader efforts to promote lasting peace in the region.
