Muscat: Foreign Minister of Oman Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi discussed regional and international developments, during a phone call on Sunday with his Maldivian counterpart Iruthisham Adam.

According to Qatar News Agency, both ministers affirmed the importance of intensifying efforts aimed at containing tensions, supporting dialogue, and advancing efforts to reach political solutions that contribute to achieving security and stability and enhancing opportunities for regional and global peace.

The two sides also reviewed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
