Foreign Minister warns of the repercussions of wars in the region

In his speech, Hussein stressed, according to the statement, 'the pivotal role of this coalition in confronting ISIS, which caused the killing and displacement of thousands and the destruction of human heritage,' referring to 'the great successes achieved by joint efforts in Weakening the terrorist organization, and the transition of efforts to a new stage in combating ISIS.' He said that "the Ira qi security forces continue to carry out preemptive operations targeting the organization's leaders and members, which has greatly contributed to reducing its capabilities," praising "the strong partnership between Iraq and the international coalition, along with the NATO mission, which has contributed to developing the capabilities of the Iraqi forces.' He stressed that "despite the progress achieved, ISIS still poses a threat due to its to adapt and spread in different areas, which requires continuous updating of plans and tasks," noting "the start of joint ability consultations between the Iraqi government and the international coalition to re-evaluate Operation "Inherent Resolve" and determine future needs." The Minister reviewed, according to the statement, 'the efforts of the Iraqi government to end the internal displacement file, noting the return of thousands of displaced families in cooperation with the United Nations,' expressing 'Iraq's concern about the continued situation in the Al -Hol and Roj camps in northeastern Syria, and called on the hesitant countries to return their citizens.' He stressed "Iraq's commitment to its membership in the international coalition to defeat ISIS, and its readiness to transfer its rich experience in combating terrorism to other countries."
