Beirut: Four people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on southern Lebanon, the National News Agency of Lebanon (NNA) reported.
According to Qatar News Agency, the strike targeted a house in the town of Zilaya in the Western Beqaa District, resulting in the deaths of two people, while rescue teams continue efforts to remove the rubble, NNA added.
Israeli drones targeted the town of Mayfadoun, resulting in the deaths of two more people, while the town also came under artillery shelling at the same time.
Israeli forces also issued an urgent warning to residents of the following towns and villages: Kouthariyet El-Siyad, Ghassaniyeh, Mazraat el Daoudiye, Bedias, Rihan, Zlaya, Bazouriyeh, Harouf, Habboush, Ansariyeh, Qlaileh, and Deir Al-Zahrani.
By continuing its attacks on southern Lebanon, the Israeli entity is violating the truce that began on April 16 for a period of ten days, before being extended for an additional three weeks starting from April 23.
