Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stressed on Monday, upon his arrival in New York to participate in the UN General Assembly meeting, that the message of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the world is "security and peace."
Pezeshkian stressed that he "carries the message of peace and security from Iran and the realization of the slogan of the United Nations based on peace and a future linked to development for all peoples."
He added: "Instead of war, bloodshed and killing, we must create a world in which all people live comfortably, regardless of color, race, nationality and region of residence."
He stressed that "opportunities must be equal for all people living on the globe."
Pezeshkian is participating for the first time in a session of the UN General Assembly as President of Iran.
His participation comes while the region is witnessing today, especially the southern Lebanon front, a continuous escalation, within the framework of the war that broke out in the Gaza Strip since October 7.
