Funeral of martyr Ahmed Sleiman in Beit Awwar al-Tahta

Ramallah - Ma'an - A large crowd from the town of Beit Awwar al-Tahta west of Ramallah, Saturday, escorted the body of martyr Ahmed Mohammed Sleiman (22 years old), who was martyred by Israeli occupation gunfire last night. The funeral procession began from the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah, in a solemn procession, reaching the martyr's family home in Beit Awwar al-Tahta, where a farewell look was given. Mourners marched through the streets of the town, carrying his body wrapped in the Palestinian flag on their shoulders, chanting condemning slogans in anger against the crimes of the occupation against our people. The mourners reached the Dawah Mosque in the town center, where the funeral prayer was held for the martyr amidst an atmosphere of sorrow and mourning, then he was laid to rest in the cemetery.
