Gaza Health Ministry: There is only one operating hospital left in Rafah

Baghdad, The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that only Tal Al-Sultan Maternity Hospital remains in service in the Rafah Governorate, south of the Strip, and appealed to international institutions to provide protection. The Ministry stated in a statement today, Tuesday, that: 'In light of the continuation and expansion of the barbaric Israeli incursion into Rafah and its deliberate targeting of many hospitals and primary care centers in the governorate, which caused severe damage to them, and the martyrdom of a number of health personnel working in them, and the difficulty for citizens to reach them, Abu Youssef Al-Najjar Hospital, Abu Al-Walid Central Clinic, Rafah Field Hospital (2), and Kuwait Specialized Hospital, went out of service.' The statement continued: 'As a result of the occupation's continued deliberate violations against health institutions by targeting the Indonesian field hospital last night, and bombing the vicinity of Tal al-Sultan Clinic, both institutions went out of service, leavin g only Tal al-Sultan Maternity Hospital struggling to survive and continue providing service to patients in Governorate". The Ministry renewed its appeal to all international and international institutions to provide protection for all hospitals, working health teams, and ambulances from the oppression and arrogance of the Israeli occupation. The Israeli army has intensified its bombing of the city of Rafah, south of Gaza, in recent days, and last Sunday night witnessed a massacre that was caused by an Israeli raid that targeted a center for the displaced, which led to the outbreak of a fire that resulted in the death of 45 people, according to health officials in Gaza.
