Muscat Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister of Oman, and Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), signed an agreement of the Supreme Council's Advisory Authority's headquarters, the Gulf Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education in the GCC States' office, and the GCC Centre for Translation, Arabisation and the Promotion of Arabic. The Secretary General praised Oman's efforts and its role in providing all aspects of support and assistance on a permanent and ongoing basis to facilitate the work of the offices and bodies affiliated with the General Secretariat in the Sultanate. He also stressed that this support comes within the framework of the Sultanate's keenness to strengthen joint Gulf action, which is an essential pillar for achieving the objectives of the Cooperation Council, noting that this keenness significantly contributes to achieving the strategic objectives of the Cooperation Council in various fields. Furthermore, the Sec retary General pointed out that the directives of the leaders of the GCC always focus on enhancing integration between the Cooperation Council countries, and working to achieve sustainable development and prosperity for the peoples of the region. Albudaiwi explained that the continued support from Oman is part of its many efforts towards achieving the desired Gulf integration, on the one hand, and directly contributes to achieving the Council's vision of enhancing stability, economic and social well-being in the region, as well as strengthening fraternal ties between the peoples of the Council countries, on the other hand.
