Germany has ordered Chad's ambassador Mariam Ali Moussa to leave the country within 48, the German Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.
German Foreign Ministry said in statement that it summoned the Chadian Ambassador in Berlin, adding: "In response to the unfounded expulsion of our Ambassador to Chad, we today summoned the Chadian Ambassador in Berlin and called on her to leave Germany within 48 hours." It said that German Ambassador "carried out his mission in N'Djamena in an exemplary manner and has worked for human rights".
Last Friday, Chad ordered the German ambassador to leave the country within 48 hours for non-respect of diplomatic customs.
