Government Hospitals CEO receives delegation of Boston Medical Centre experts

Chief Executive Officer of Government Hospitals, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Ansari, received here today the CEO of the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA), Dr. Mariam Adhbi Al-Jalahma, President of the Regenerative Medicine Centre at the Arabian Gulf University (AGU), Dr. Sfoug Al-Shammary, and a delegation of experts in the field of blood diseases and blood cancers treatment from the US-based Boston Medical Centre, who are on a visit to the kingdom.

Dr. Al-Ansari affirmed the keenness of Government Hospitals to develop the medical system so as to provide the best and advanced health services for patients with various blood diseases.

The two sides discussed ways to enhance the government hospitals' cooperation with AGU's Regenerative Medicine Centre and the Boston Medical Centre.

Discussions focused on important issues related to the level of health services and modern treatment for patients with blood disorders, as well as ways to improve them in cooperation with expertise, and taking advantage the findings of studies, recent experiences and the best practices.

Dr. Al-Ansari underlined the Government Hospitals' readiness to fully cooperate with all the relevant entities in order to improve the level of services delivered to the citizens and residents.

Members of the delegation expressed their delight at visiting the kingdom to be informed about the medical services provided to patients with blood diseases and their visits to government hospitals

They affirmed the possibility of cooperation in the medical fields aimed at serving patients with blood diseases and developing the services delivered to them.
