H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received on Tuesday Boubou Cisse, Prime Minister of Mali.
The meeting, held at the Ministry's Diwan in Abu Dhabi, touched on bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation between the two friendly countries in all fields.
Sheikh Abdullah and Cisse exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Sheikh Abdullah welcomed the visit of Malian Prime Minister and emphasised the special relations between the UAE and Mali which enjoy full support of their leadership.
Cisse expressed his country's keenness to develop cooperation with the UAE in various domains, in the light of the excellent ties between the two friendly countries. He also praised the unlimited support given by the UAE to the development and humanitarian projects in Mali and lauded the progress attained by the UAE, thanks to the wise vision of its leadership.
The meeting was attended by Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, Minister of State for International Cooperation.
