In turn, the Israeli army said in a statement that "in the last hour, an anti-tank shell was detected being fired from Lebanon towards the town of Yar'an, which resulted in the injury of two civilians who were in the area," announcing that "earlier today, the air force intercepted two drones that were on their way to Israeli territory from Lebanon. The drones did not penetrate the airspace and there were no injuries." He added: "Regarding the warnings in the Haifa Bay and Carmel areas between 8:30 and 8:31, the launch of about 25 rockets was detected that crossed from Lebanon, some of which were intercepted while a number of them fell in the area.
