National Security Advisor, Supreme Defence Council Secretary-General and Royal Guard Commander, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today received a cable of congratulations from the Undersecretary of the Cabinet Affairs Ministry, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, following the issuance of an order by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, promoting HH to the rank of Lieutenant-General.

The Cabinet Affairs Ministry’s Undersecretary asserted that HH Shaikh Nasser’s promotion to the rank of Lieutenant-General reflects his national achievements, competence and landmark contributions to the military, humanitarian and sports fields in the kingdom.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali wished Lieutenant-General HH Shaikh Nasser continued success in serving the kingdom, under the leadership of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and thanks to the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
