National Security Advisor, Supreme Defence Council Secretary-General and Royal Guard Commander, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today received a cable of congratulations from the Commander of the Joint Peninsula Shield Force, Major-General Abdulaziz bin Ahmed al Balawi, following the issuance of an order by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, promoting HH to the rank of Lieutenant-General.

Major-General Abdulaziz bin Ahmed extended sincere congratulations to Lt. General HH Shaikh Nasser, wishing HH continued success in serving the kingdom, under HM the King’s leadership.
