HM King, Supreme Commander of Armed Forces, visits BDF General Command

Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, visited the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF).

Upon arrival, HM the King was received by Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the BDF Commander-in-Chief, Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Commander of the Royal Guard’s Special Force, Lieutenant-General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs, Lieutenant General Thiyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, the BDF Chief of Staff, and senior BDF staff.

His Majesty was briefed on future plans to further develop BDF units.

HM the King expressed his appreciation and pride in all the brave members of the BDF for their constant keenness to carry out their national duties with courage and sincere determination.

HM King Hamad praised the success of the ongoing Bahrain’s initiatives to provide urgent humanitarian aid to support Palestinians in Gaza, thanking all those who contributed.

His Majesty stressed that the Kingdom stands with Palestine in this difficult time, expressing hope for security and peace in the region and the world.
