HM King’s care for education hailed by HH Shaikh Nasser

Manama, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, has affirmed that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's unwavering care for the education sector has opened wider horizons for training and preparing qualified Bahraini competencies who are capable of contributing effectively to ensuring a brighter future for the kingdom. HH Shaikh Nasser also commended the utmost interest of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in developing education according to a clearly defined methodology, so that Bahrain always remains a leader in this field. His Highness made the statements while attending a ceremony hosted by the Ibn Khuldoon National School (IKNS) for its alumni marking its 40th anniversary. On arrival, HH Shaikh Nasser was welcomed by Farouk Yousuf Al Moayyed, IKNS Board of Trustees Chairman, Fareeda Abdulrahman Moayyed, the IKNS Board of Directors Chairp erson, Board of Trustees members and several former IKNS students. HH Shaikh Nasser highlighted the IKNS' continuous success in serving Bahraini youth and developing their capabilities, as it hosts an elite group of experts who contributed to enhancing the capabilities of male and female students, using modern and innovative methods. His Highness appreciated the efforts made by the school's board of trustees and board of directors in supporting the administrative and teaching staff over the past four decades, congratulating the graduates for their successes and achievements. Dr. Kamal Abdel-Nour, IKNS President, delivered a speech in which he expressed the IKNS community's gratitude and appreciation to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad for attending the ceremony. He asserted that HH Shaikh Nasser's keenness to attend the ceremony reflects HH's keenness to meet the school's former students. He added that the school's former students celebrated the presence of HH Shaikh Nasser, who was one of the school's most pr ominent graduates, and has attained honourable achievements that have contributed to raising the Bahraini flag at international gatherings.
