Doha: Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced the operating hours of its services during the Eid Al Fitr holiday.
According to Qatar News Agency, all emergency departments will continue to operate as usual, providing 24-hour service every day for medical emergencies. The Pediatric Emergency Centers will also remain open around the clock, catering to children under 14 years old. The Ambulance Service will maintain its 24/7 operations for emergency medical assistance.
The Nesmaak 16060 call center and the 16000 Government Healthcare Hotline will both operate without interruption throughout the holiday. However, all HMC Outpatient clinics will be closed from March 30 to April 5. Limited outpatient services will resume on April 6 and 7, with full services available from April 8. Patients with scheduled appointments during the Eid period will be notified of any changes to their appointment dates.
The Urgent Consultation Service and the Pharmacy Home Delivery Service, both accessed via 16000, will be closed from March 30 and will resume on April 8. The National Mental Health Helpline will not be available for the first three days of Eid.
Therapeutic Dietetics and Nutrition Services, accessible via 16060, will be closed on the first day of Eid and will operate from 7 am to 12 pm thereafter. The Qatar National Blood Donation Center will be closed for the first two days of Eid but will open from 9 am to 9 pm following that. Meanwhile, the City Center Mobile Blood Donation Camp will be available daily from 3 pm to 8 pm.
