Manama, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met, in the presence of the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Excellency Fahad Mohammed Salem bin Kardous Al Ameri, with the members of the United Arab Emirates Balloon Team, led by Captain Pilot Abdulaziz Nasser Al Mansoori, at Gudaibiya Palace. HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa highlighted the depth of Bahrain-UAE relations, which have witnessed increased multisectoral collaboration in line with the ongoing support of both His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the President of the United Arab Emirates His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. His Royal Highness emphasised his pride in various initiatives led by Arab countries that enhance joint Arab efforts and cooperation and which furthers the values of belonging and loyalty amongst Arab countries. HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad was briefed on the details of the Arab Balloon initiative, which wil l include a flight across Arab and regional countries, carrying the flags of all Arab countries. In this regard, His Royal Highness recognised various initiatives led by Emirati nationals that further bolster Gulf and Arab cooperation. HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad noted the UAE Balloon Team's efforts, and wished them success in their future endeavors. For his part, Captain Pilot Al Mansoori expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness's support of initiatives that contribute to Gulf and Arab collaboration. Captain Pilot Al Mansoori further noted His Royal Highness's support for the United Arab Emirates Balloon Team and the Arab Balloon initiative, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity. The First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, al so attended the meeting.
