Salem Al Mohannadi: Committed to supporting the long-established sport
In a first a kind partnership, the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC) announced the signing of an agreement with the Seashore Group. Under the agreement, the Seashore Group will sponsor the Al Sabiq traditional championship, which will be held as part the activities of the H.H. The Amir Sword Festival, which will kick off on Thursday, 17 February 2022. The Seashore Group will present a special prize for winning rider.
The signing of the sponsorship contract was announced in the presence of His Excellency Issa bin Mohammed Al Mohannadi, QREC Chairman, and Mr. Salem Saeed Al Mohannadi, Seashore Group CEO, as well as a officials from both sides.
Issa Al Mohannadi: Enhancing rivalry among riders
Commenting on this sponsorship, His Excellency Issa bin Mohammed Al Mohannadi, QREC Chairman, said: “We thank the Seashore Group for sponsoring one of the activities of the His Highness The Amir Sword Festival, the most prestigious and prominent horseracing event in Qatar and the region. Given the special nature of the Al Sabiq championship, this sponsorship will contribute to fostering the rivalry among the participating for the first place in the championship, which usually sees a large number of fans of this very special traditional ride.”

It is a valuable contribution to the success of the activities of the Festival, which we all look forward to its start and the international representation, which reflects the good standard horseracing in Qatar”, added QREC Chairman.
