International Conference on Islamic Unity begins in Tehran

The 38th session of the International Conference on Islamic Unity began in the Iranian capital Tehran this morning, Thursday, in the conference hall under the patronage of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. According to the "IRNA", this session of the conference is held under the title "Islamic cooperation to achieve common values with a focus on the Palestinian issue" with the participation of 2,500 civil and military figures as well as a group of elites and thinkers from Islamic countries. According to "IRNA", 78 cultural, religious and official figures from 30 countries are participating in the conference this year, most of them ministers, muftis, heads of international organizations or their assistants. This is the first time that guests from all over the world, including America, Europe, East and West Asia, Malaysia, Russia, Indonesia and other Islamic countries, are participating, with 32 of them participating for the first time.
