The official Iranian news agency, IRNA, quoted a public relations official from Iran's air defense, who stated that the air defenses thwarted attempts by the Israeli entity to strike certain points in Tehran and across the country. He clarified that the sounds heard around Tehran were related to air defense activity at three points outside the capital, describing the defense operation as a success.
