Iraqi Prime Minister-Designate and Turkish President Discuss Regional Stability Over Phone

Istanbul: Iraqi Prime Minister-designate, Ali Faleh Al Zaidi and Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a phone conversation on Saturday. The call discussed political developments in Iraq and the region, as well as bilateral cooperation and ways to strengthen joint coordination on matters of mutual interest, in a way that supports regional stability and preserves the interests of both countries.

According to Qatar News Agency, President Erdogan affirmed Turkiye's support for Iraq's stability and success over the coming political phase, stressing the importance of continued cooperation between the two sides on political, economic, and security issues.
