Manama, Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf and Chairman of the High Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs, participated in bidding farewell to the first groups of pilgrims leaving for Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj. Shaikh Adnan bin Abdulla Al Qattan, Chairman of the Bahrain Pilgrimage Mission, was present. The minister lauded the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on providing all forms of facilities for the journey of pilgrims and providing them with all means of comfort. Minister Al Maawda commended the efforts of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of Saudi Arabia and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in serving the pilgrims and providing the needful for them to perform Hajj comfortably and safely.
