Kuwait Bourse Rises as All Share Index Gains 47.94 Points

Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Sunday with the All Share Index gaining 47.94 points to reach 8,908.30 points, marking an increase of 0.54 percent. A total of 560.7 million shares valued at KWD 102.8 million, approximately USD 335.7 million, were traded through 30,063 transactions.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index experienced an increase of 34.46 points, reaching 8,605.06 points, which is a rise of 0.40 percent. This was achieved through the trading of 394.7 million shares in 18,819 transactions, with a value of KWD 49.5 million, or roughly USD 160 million.

The Premier Market Index also saw a gain, rising by 53.30 points to reach 9,435.11 points, up by 0.57 percent. This was accomplished through the exchange of 165.9 million shares across 11,244 transactions, with a total value of KWD 53.3 million, equivalent to about USD 174 million.

In addition, the Main 50 Index increased by 111.03 points to reach 9,472.19 points, an upturn of 1.19 percent. This was driven by a stock volume of 318 million shares transacted in 14,015 deals, valued at KWD 39.1 million, or approximately USD 127.6 million.
