QNB Group and Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar Partner to Launch Business Innovation Center

Doha: QNB Group and Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q), a partner university of Qatar Foundation, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish the QNB Center for Business Innovation. This initiative aims to advance business education, promote innovation ecosystems, and prepare skilled professionals for future challenges in Qatar and the broader region.

According to Qatar News Agency, the MoU was signed by Abdullah Mubarak Al Khalifa, Group CEO of QNB, and Dr. Michael Trick, Dean of CMU-Q, with representatives from both organizations present at the ceremony. The QNB Center for Business Innovation is set to function as a bridge between academic excellence and specialized professional expertise, thereby supporting the development of future leaders and fostering innovation in critical professional sectors.

In a statement, QNB Group emphasized that the initiative aligns with its ongoing commitment to fostering knowledge-based growth, driving digital transformation, and contributing to a diversified economy in line with Qatar National Vision 2030. QNB Group CEO Abdullah Mubarak Al Khalifa stated that the partnership underscores the bank's belief in the region's future being shaped by innovation and strong human capital, with the center focusing on nurturing the next generation of Qatari and Gulf talent.

Dr. Michael Trick, Dean of CMU-Q, highlighted that the QNB Center for Business Innovation merges academic excellence with financial leadership. By integrating expertise in business administration, artificial intelligence, technological innovation, and information systems with QNB's understanding of the regional financial and business landscape, the initiative is poised to offer extensive opportunities for students and the wider community.
