Kuwait city: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense has announced that its armed forces detected four hostile drones violating the nation's airspace within the past 24 hours. Among these, one drone was successfully destroyed, while another crashed outside the threat area, posing no danger to the public.
According to Qatar News Agency, Colonel Saud Al Atwan, spokesperson for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, reported that two of the drones crashed in the northern region of the country. Fortunately, these incidents did not result in any material damage or casualties.
Al Atwan further explained that a National Guard unit was responsible for shooting down two drones within its designated area of responsibility, demonstrating the integrated cooperation between various military agencies in the country. Additionally, the Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit of the Land Forces Engineering Corps responded to six reports in the past 24 hours, adhering to established procedures to ensure safety and security.
