Middle East Airlines (MEA) Chairman Mohamad El Hout said that flights to Beirut-Rafic Al Hariri International Airport are operating normally, adding that most Arab airlines are maintaining their flights to Beirut. In a statement following his meeting with Lebanese Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati on Tuesday, the MEA Chairman said that scheduling some flights for late night or morning is a matter of precaution to ensure the safety of air traffic at the airport and to prevent crowding in case of any emergencies. El Hout said that only five to six MEA flights have their times delayed to later times out of 36 planes, while the rest are operating according to their normal schedules. Source: Qatar News Agency
