The Military Intelligence Directorate found tunnels and underground bunkers with a length of more than (50) meters per tunnel, a width of (100) cm, and a height of two meters in the Tal Afar district, Abu Maria village. The Directorate stated in a statement, 'ISIS gangs were using these tunnels and hideouts as a strategic center for commanding the organization's terrorist operations at that time, and there were rooms used for prison and caches for weapons, equipment, and various materials.' It indicated that the engineering effort detachments removed the materials, destroyed them on site, and completely buried the tunnels. Source: National Iraqi News Agency
