Doha: HE Minister of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi highlighted the importance of effectively integrating students with autism into society and ensuring that they receive equal educational opportunities. This came during Her Excellency's visit to Al Hidaya Special Needs School on the occasion of the World Autism Awareness Day, as a reflection of the Ministry's constant interest in and care of students with special needs and the requirements for special education. During the visit, Her Excellency met with the school's officials and was briefed on its academic programs and activities specifically tailored to enhance the skills of students with autism. HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education stressed the need for permanent cooperation between MOEHE and all educational institutions on further developing education for students with autism. Her Excellency thanked the school's administration and staff for their outstanding efforts in creating a supportive and encouraging educational environment for students, underscoring her appreciation for their role in spreading awareness about autism and the need to socially integrate students with all kinds of special educational needs.
