The Minister of Electricity, Ziyad Ali Fadhel, affirmed today, Sunday, the aspiration to twin energy projects between Baghdad and Riyadh.

The Ministry of Electricity said in a statement: "The Minister of Electricity received at the Ministry's headquarters a delegation of the Iraqi-Saudi Friendship Committee."

During the meeting, the Minister affirmed "the aspiration to twinning electric energy projects between Baghdad and Riyadh," pointing out that "there is a promising investment map in the electricity sector that we want to achieve, and we hope that large Saudi companies will participate in it."
