Brussels: HE Minister of State for International Cooperation Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad met with HE the UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, Tom Fletcher, on the sidelines of the 9th international Conference in support of Syria, organized by the European Union in Brussels.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on areas of cooperation between the State of Qatar and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and ways to support and enhance them. The discussions particularly emphasized humanitarian aid for Gaza and included several topics of mutual interest.

HE the Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator commended the State of Qatar’s efforts in advancing humanitarian diplomacy.
