Doha: The Ministry of Justice is participating in the Qatar Real Estate Forum and Cityscape Qatar 2024 exhibition with a pavilion that includes a display of the services of the real estate registration and documentation sector. The pavilion includes the services it provides throughout the exhibition days, and displays of real estate registration and documentation transactions included in the laws that were recently issued, which introduced new transactions that are being implemented for the first time, especially in the field of digital transformation and completing transactions electronically. The pavilion also includes displays of real estate sales transactions, including immediate real estate ownership transfer services, and issuing real estate residencies in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, in line with efforts aimed at supporting the real estate sector in the country. For the first time at the Cityscape Qatar, the Real Estate Brokerage Department will conduct field visits to the companies par ticipating in the exhibition, to introduce real estate brokerage procedures, raise awareness of the provisions of the Real Estate Brokerage Law, and ensure that licensed companies practice the real estate brokerage profession. The Ministry of Justice is participating under the umbrella of the government pavilion, which includes the Real Estate Development Authority (Aqarat) and the Investment Promotion Agency, to provide an integrated real estate experience for visitors to the exhibition, and create a stimulating environment for real estate investment, which consolidates the investment position of the State of Qatar, and enhances its capabilities to attract investors and improve the services of the real estate sector. The Ministry of Justice pavilion provides legal services and consultations related to judicial transactions supporting the real estate sector, including services for non-Qataris to own and benefit from real estate following Cabinet Decision No. 28 of 2020 specifying the areas in which non-Qata ris may own and benefit from real estate, and the conditions, controls, advantages, and procedures for their ownership and benefit.
