MOEHE Announces Requirements for Transfer of Teachers and Admin Staff in Public Schools

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) has announced the general framework for filling job vacancies and transfers of teachers and administrative staff for the 2020-2021 academic year, to ensure the psychosocial stability of teachers and administrative staff in public schools and to promote appropriate hardworking climate that boosts the educational process.

According to the ministry’s website, it will start receiving transfer requests electronically through the ministry’s e-services portal from Monday 1 March to Wednesday 31 March, and paper requests will not be considered, while these requests will be responded to during June and no request will be received after the end specified period.

The request for the transfer of the teaching staff shall be to the same job title and the same educational stage, any request except this should not be accepted. Administrative staff requests will not be received on the administrative committee e-mail (sar@edu.gov.qa) as of the start of the electronic transfer system, and all previous requests will be canceled.
