MOPH: Updates on travel and return policies to Qatar

The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH), announced updates regarding the travel and return policy for “Covid-19”, as of midday on Monday, August 2nd.

The new updates to travel and return policies to the State of Qatar include an update of the country classification lists, as well as an update of procedures for travellers from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines and Sri Lanka.

Travelers who have been vaccinated or recovered from “Covid-19” in the State of Qatar, and who come from one of these countries (Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka), are subject to a hotel quarantine for two days, provided that the quarantine period ends after obtaining a result a negative PCR test on the second day, while the rest of the travellers coming from these countries are subject to hotel quarantine for a period of 10 days.
