Mr. Muhammed Muhammad presented his credentials to Tunisia's President Kais Saied as an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Syria in Tunis. The presentation of credentials ceremony took place at the Carthage Palace. Ambassador Mohammed conveyed the greetings of President Bashar al-Assad to President Saied and wishes to the brotherly Tunisian people for further progress, prosperity and development. President Saied, in turn, said that what unites Syria and Tunisia are the deeply-rooted fraternal ties, stressing his keenness to strengthen and develop those relations in all fields, for the benefit of the two countries and peoples. Syria's sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity must be respected, the Tunisian president Saied added, conveying his greetings to President al-Assad and wishes for Syria's recovery and continued safety and stability.
