Muscat Stock Exchange Sees Decrease in Trading Figures

Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index closed on Thursday at 8,159.33 points, experiencing a decline of 33.9 points, which is a 0.41 percent decrease compared to the previous trading session's close of 8,193.24 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the total value of traded shares amounted to OMR 65,208,733. This represents a decrease of 3.3 percent in comparison to the previous session, where traded shares were valued at OMR 67,437,065. Additionally, the report issued by the Muscat Stock Exchange highlighted a reduction in market capitalization by 0.228 percent from the last trading day, with the figure now approximately at OMR 38.08 billion.
